Aren’t You Sick and Tired of Gas Prices!

Posted in Uncategorized at 7:50 pm

Today I’m not going to talk about working at home or making money, but instead I’m going to talk about something that has just been driving me CRAZY for a long time now, and I’m sure its been driving you nuts as well.

The Price Of Gas!

Have you seen the price of gas lately? If you haven’t then you must be from another planet. The price of gas is getting WAY out of control, and nobody seems to say anything or do anything about it. They just let these oil companies jack up the prices left and right. I’m so sick and tired of hearing excuse after excuse as to why the price went up 35 cents overnight.

The other day I was driving down the street and I saw that gas (where I live) was $3.51 a gallon. 12 hours later I drove pass the same exact gas station and the price was $3.65. Why such huge price increases in only 12 hours time? What happened now?

Here is what really gets me mad. Why do the oil companies need to make 40 billion a year? What’s wrong with 40 million a year (heck I would take that). But seriously do they really need to make billions and billions each and every year? Why not cut everyone some slack and say “HEY! Where going to cut gas prices, and only make 10 billion this year”

Then you see these people out there who say “well we can do this and that it would save us 100,000 years of oil and we wouldn’t need to rely on oil as much” then my question to them is why aren’t we out there doing it today as we speak?

I know one thing for sure, and that is that it’s all a big money game, and it’s not going to stop until someone does something about it (IF anyone does something about it).

Post your comments and let me know what you think about the price of gas.

A Good Way To Generate Leads From Solo Ads

Posted in marketing, online marketing, how to market online at 5:06 pm

I get this question every day of the week from my team members.

“Tim I have X amount of money to spend in advertising what do you think is the best thing I should do with the money I have?”

Here is my answer…

If you’re just starting out and you have some money to put into advertising I think your money would be well spent by buying solo ads from a number of different sources. Now a lot of people would say put your money into PPC, but I think by doing that you cut your self short and you can easily lose all your money without seeing any results.

Sooner or later you’re going to have to brake away from PPC (pay per click) and find other ways to advertise. If you find a couple of solo ad places to use early on you’ll have an edge over most of your competition.

So how do you generate leads from buying solo ads?

Step 1 - First setup a lead capture page with a form on it.

Step 2 – Buy a few solo ads and link back to your lead page with your ad.

I recommend using the places listed below
(*note make sure you track all of your advertising)

Here is a small list of places I buy solo ads from, and have generated a number of highly quality leads.

http://www.gotsafelist.com

http://www.themadvlad.com

http://www.adtactics.com

Each one of the above sites allows you to buy solo ads ranging from $25 up to $100.

Why Free Traffic Works And How To Use It

Posted in marketing, online marketing, how to market online, free traffic at 8:05 pm

Just because the traffic you might be getting is free does not mean that it will not work, and you will not earn any money from it. In fact I started my online business using nothing but free traffic, and believe me it worked, and it still does work till this day. So if you are using free traffic and you are not making any money from it then you are doing something wrong.

So why does free traffic work?

Well it works because even free traffic can be highly targeted traffic if you place your ads in the correct spots that are related to your market or product you sell. The best example is article marketing and free classifieds. These two types of marketing are free, but they both allow you to target certain groups of people. The people you are targeting are going to be very good traffic, and if they are not they you are not targeting your market.

Free traffic also works, because no traffic is bad traffic at least in my mind. Even if all your free website traffic does not convert on your main product or service you can always try and offer them something else. Not every service or product is made for everyone. So try to offer different things and see what results you end up getting.

Now let’s talk about how to use free traffic.

In my years of experience the best way I was able to get free traffic to convert at its highest was by giving away free gifts for a week or so before I even mentioned anything about my main product. By doing it this way you are able to first build up a relationship and trust with people, and we all know that is huge.

Once you have built up their trust its time to show them your main product or service you promote. Some people will bite, and others will not. However you will notice a higher conversion rate if you do it this way rather then just showing people your main product right off the bat.

So now lets recap.

Free traffic does work, and it can work just as well as targeted traffic. If you use the correct free traffic methods such as article writing and classified ads. These two methods will draw in traffic that is highly targeted. We also know that this traffic will convert, but if you want to increase your conversion rate you must first offer free gifts or other incentives before you show them your main product or service.
