Three Steps to Success

Posted in home business, how to market online, marketing, online marketing, work at home at 4:59 pm

When you start a business online you cannot just jump in and go. There are certain steps and processes you must first take in order to get everything up and running the correct way. I like to call this my 3 steps to success.

Step 1. Find a business that you feel fits what you’re looking for. Make sure its something you like, and can really get into. Other wise you’ll find yourself easily losing interest it if you’re not making any money, and have no clue what you’re doing.

Step 2. Once you figure out which business is good for you the next step is to setup a lead capture page, and your auto responder system. Your lead capture page should be something short, simple, and to the point. Don’t give away to much information, but just enough so it leaves people wanting more information. This way they will fill out your form.

(I use and recommend Aweber if you need an auto responder).

Step 3. Get a sales page made that will promote both you and your business. It’s important that you sell yourself first then the business. People look to join leaders not a business. So explain to people how you can help them, and why they should consider joining you. Then show them the business you’re involved with.

Using this simple three step process I’m able to keep a steady flow of money coming in each and every signal month. The key to making this system work is traffic, and connecting with the people who visit your websites.

Making Money Online Requires Phone Skills

Posted in how to market online, marketing, online marketing at 4:08 pm

Sure you can make money online with out talking on the phone, but if you really want to make money years down the line then you need to build up a friendship with people, and the only real way to do that is speaking with people on the phone. You would be surprised at some of the people you end up talking to, and all the new people you meet.

After years of working online I’ve come to find that it wouldn’t hurt to polish up on phone skills so you know what to say and what not to say to people. Talking to people mean the difference of you earning a few hundred dollars a month to a few thousand.

So why is it important to talk to people?

It’s important because over time you build up trust and a friendship, and once you do that you now have a person that will buy from you time after time. If you do this with ten or more people you now have yourself a very strong group of people that you know will buy whatever you’re selling.

Here is a good article on some of the basic phone skills you should have. (Click here to read article).
