Traffic Exchanges have been around for years, and if you’ve done any type of Internet marketing I’m sure you’ve used them at one point or another.
Do they really work though, and is it worth all the time and effort you put in?
I believe traffic exchanges work. They might not be the greatest traffic you will get, but it does and will convert into sales. The key to using traffic exchanges successfully though is to sign up to a few of the top ones out there, and make sure you are active at each one of them at least once per day.
My traffic stats are proof that you do get traffic from them. I typically get anywhere from 10 – 60 visitors per day from using only a few places, and spending no more then 15 minutes on each one of them every day.
I’ve also been able to build an email list of over 500 subscribers just from free traffic I’ve gotten off the traffic exchanges I’m apart of.

That’s it, and I know you might be surprised to see I only use three traffic exchanges. However these are some of the best ones out there and we all know it’s not always about quantity but more about quality.

Safe-list marketing is an excellent way to get more traffic to any website you might own. Over the pass four years I’ve successfully used safelists to market many different income opportunities and businesses. So if you ever come across someone who tells you safe lists don’t work they are lying to you.
I’ve used a number of different safelists, and I will be the first to admit that not all the safelists are good. However in order to find the good ones you have to search through hundreds of bad ones, but you’re in luck today.
Below is a list of 5 of the top safe-list places I’ve had most of my success with, and now you too can use them to help increase the flow of traffic going to your website.
Smart Safelist – This is a fairly new safelist, however it can really pack a punch when it comes to delivering traffic. It’s free to become a member, and they even offer the option to buy solo ads which do very well.
Adtactics – This safelist has been around for years, and has a list size of around 6,000 members. Very responsive list. They also offer a solo ad for $25 that has gotten me good results over the years.
Globalsafelist – They’ve been around for a few years, and their list size is right around 7,000 members. I get a lot of traffic from here, and they too offer a solo ad. However their solo ad is not as good as Adtactics.
Gotsafelist – With over 15,000 members you can’t go wrong. They offer a lot of advertising options from solo ads to top sponsored ads. Very good quality.
Herculist – They claim to have over 50,000 members, but I’m not sure how true that is. I get ok response from the list when I blast out and email, but I get my best response from their Supra-Ads.

Getting traffic to a website can be a long nagging process if you are new to the Internet marketing world, but with a little bit of help you can easily start getting a nice steady flow of traffic to your website.
Today I would like to share with you my top 10 ways to get traffic to any website.
- Article Marketing – Write articles about that deal with your business or niche market, and submit them to article directories. Make sure to leave a link back to your website.
- Talk On Forums – Become an active member of a few popular forums, and start asking questions and replying to peoples messages. Make sure to have a link to your website in your signature.
- Post Comments On Blogs – With blogging becoming more and more popular you can almost always find a blog in your niche market. Leave comments on blogs that relate to your website. Just make sure you do not spam the blog.
- Post Press Releases – Write some exciting news and submit it to either a free press release site or a paid one.
- Traffic Exchanges – Join 3 popular traffic exchanges, and each day surf for a few hours until you feel you’ve surfed long enough.
- Safelist Marketing – Become a free or paid member at 10 or more safelists. Make it a habit to submit to each safelist at least once a day.
- Free Classifieds – Join a few of the top classified ads sites and post ads in a area that is related to your business.
- Myspace/Facebook – Join either one or both, and become an active member. Make friends and interact and before you know it people will ask about your business and you will start to see traffic.
- YouTube – Post a video that talks about your business or gives out some helpful tips. Place a link to your website either in the video or on your YouTube page.
- Bookmark – Add a link to your website that allows people to easily bookmark your site as a favorite.
