Since I’ve been working online I’ve seen my fair share of cashing gifting programs. The first type of cash gifting programs I came across where very basic. After you sent in your signed paper and money order or cashiers check you where lucky enough to get a site a few downloadable e-books and that was it.
Cash gifts where easy to get, and people couldn’t get enough of the cold hard cash they would receive in the mail with almost little or no effort. Lets face it watching a video of someone pulling out $3,500 in 100 dollar bills make must people question if they are in the right business or not.
Over the years cash gifting programs have changed. They now offer more value for the money you’re putting out. Now most of the cash gifting systems you’ll find online don’t even really look at themselves as a gifting system at all.
They still require you to send in a money order or cashiers check, and some even now will take credits cards. One of the biggest changes though is that now most gifting systems give you a plug-n-play system.
You get pretty much the whole 9 yards. Lead capture pages, auto responders, sales page where you can upload videos, and photos, and even some have fancy webinars that hopefully do most of the selling and telling for you.
What about the products? Yep they got better as well. Sure you’ll still get the junky e-books you’ll never use, but now you also get real tools you’ll actually use and help you collect leads. Some even give you a voice broadcasting system or a postcard report that details step-by-step how to get cash gifts from postcard marketing.

Not to long ago we created a website called Money Xplosion. We thought this site would be our next “big thing” from all the other sites we run. However things didn’t work out like we planed.This just goes to show though that not everything you or I do online will work and become a success. I’m not afraid to admit that one of my projects was a flop and didn’t work. It’s all part of running a business. Some ideas no matter how good they sound just simply don’t work.
Sure I would have loved for it work out. After all I put a lot of time and money into the site, hosting etc. When it came down to it though I had little or no time to maintain the site, and the sales page converted like crap.
So rather then waste more time and money and redo it I’ve decided to just kill the site all together and move on.
Most people will drag their feet and work day and night trying to make 1 website profitable, but the truth is give it a month or so and if you don’t see results its time to think about pulling the plug.
